The Church enjoys the work of this enthusiastic
and artistic team of flower arrangers, who are affiliated to the Church
of England Flower Arrangers Association, the Secretary of the Guild working
as a Diocesan Adviser for the Association.
Flower Festivals at theChurch have been very successful and the Flower
Guild have been joined by flower arrangers from other Churches in the area,
making the occasions interesting and truly ecumenical. Saint George's flower
arrangers have, in turn, returned to the visitors Churches to help arrange
their flower festivals.
The Guild members mostly work individually arranging flowers on a weekly
rota basis, apart from Church Festivals ie. Christmas, Easter, Harvest
,Weddings and other special occasions.

O Lord the creator of all things of beauty,
grant to those who serve
you with their gifts of floral art,
A sense of your majesty and a desire
to heighten the worship of the
Holy Church by the dedicated use of their gifts.
This we ask in the name of Him who with the Farther is the Creator
and Sustainer of all good things,
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
